We have been twice in the last few weeks, in the evening for carbonara and salad and in the day for a mediterranean breakfast. Both were fabulous, generous, tasty and good value in a lovely atmosphere with welcoming service. We look forward to exploring the menu further. (Update August 22 - there is a new restaurant here, this review is for the one that is closed)
In Kensal Rise, there is an amazing new Asian restaurant called Nonemu that offers Japanese and Korean fusion small plates that pack tonnes of flavour. We were hooked from the first bite of Padron Peppers laced with sea salt and sweet miso glaze, followed by Sea Bass with Coriander foam, and Hamachi Ceviche. We were so impressed, we order some dishes twice over.
With friendly front-of-house staff, soothing music, and a relaxed vibe, this is the kind of restaurant we will go back to, time and time again.
Just discovered this new local restaurant. Went in on a cold night after a long journey, knowing I had no food in the house. It was warm as nd welcoming. Ordered a glass of wine and we shared a mixed meze and a salad. It was all delicious, and really good value. The food was tasty a bit inventive and well cooked, the portion size was bigger than usual, which makes it even better value. I’ve returned a few times now and it has not disappointed yet
